Well, our two weeks of birthday bashes are behind us.....it was busy, fun and full of cakes and calories. Here are a few of the photos: (in order of events)
For Malea's birthday, we went to the beach (sorry no pics at the beach) with visiting friends, Sharon and Melisa and then had dinner and cake together as a family along with Uncle Wes and Donna!

For Aubrey's birthday, they both went to the "salon" to have a "gliter glam spa package" which included hair do, makeup and nails painted!
Then, we were off to CiCi's....since you can't just go home when you are looking so beautiful.
Then, dinner with the family, cake and presents:
The girls had their party this year at JoAnn's and crafted up a picture frame and decorated their own cupcakes. We were so happy to have JiJi here to celebrate with us along with our friends!

Celebrating Jake's Birthday and Hanging out at The Reunion Resort

One of our favorite parts of each year is heading to the Reunion Resort. It is so nice just to hang out together, without distractions or having to go anywhere. Jake, once again, decided that he wanted to spend his birthday weekend there.
Jake with his Mango key lime pie for his "cake" and below is the gift the girls picked out for him. (Can you tell they are dying to see the new Smurf movie?)

The limbo contest.....Malea and Aubrey were so proud to be in the top 5 of the competition.

Wild Times in West Palm

Well, the summer has been loaded with fun and very busy. Obviously "blogging" has not been my top priority as of late, but we will see how it goes. A couple of weeks ago, we had the opportunity to go to West Palm Beach. For those of you who don't recall, Jake and I lived there for a year during his residency and were excited to share it with Malea and Aubrey. We went to the beach (without the camera!), City Place and Lion Country Safari. We all had a blast.

Fun for Fall

Another Fun Fall Festival....this time complet with (wait for it.....) PONY RIDES. Our very first pony rides. The girls were so excited- even though Aubrey insisted that I walk around with her. We went with our friends the Droste's and seriously, I think we could have spent all day there. The pictures do not do justice to all the little events and music that they had for us to enjoy. We will have to plan for more time next year.

Pumpkin Patch

Yet another wonder fall festival at Sweetfield Farms, they had added even more fun "events" this year. Fall is now here (Even if the weather doesn't agree)
